One of the goals of the West Baltimore MARC Parking Expansion and Enhancements project is to connect with the character of the surrounding neighborhoods and create a space that beautifies the area. These neighborhoods include Midtown Edmondson, Penrose, Rosemont Homeowners/Tenants, Evergreen Lawn, Bridgeview/Greenlawn, Mosher, Harlem Park, Franklin Square, Boyd-Booth, and Shipley Hill. The MTA is interested in partnering with local community art programs and landscaping groups to find ways to incorporate the culture of the surrounding neighborhoods into the proposed parking expansion site.
